That instant fear is no more logical than a woman hugging her purse when a Black teenager walks by on the sidewalk, or being afraid because some passenger on your plane is wearing a turban. Most progressives would immediately defend the Black teenager or the Muslim airline passenger, but if the alleged perp is a white male, he must be in the wrong. There’s something wrong with that picture, and it’s not the awkward guy trying to get a date.
