Nicholas, i think there is a big difference between agreeing that opposition research, digging up dirt on political opponents is ethically questionable and making the leap to the idea that Trump, his liberal Orthodox Jewish son in law, and a 30 year general who hated the Russians got together and worked with a foreign government to manipulate the outcome of an election. Might they have asked the russians for dirt on hillary, certainly. Could anyone have used access to Trump to cut a side deal with russians for $$, possibly, but the last politician who actually tried to help the Russians counter the efforts or policies of a US president was Ted Kennedy. He asked Andropov of the USSR to undermine Reagan and offered to use his media allies to make it happen. https://www.forbes.com/forbes/welcome/?toURL=https://www.forbes.com/2009/08/27/ted-kennedy-soviet-union-ronald-reagan-opinions-columnists-peter-robinson.html&refURL=https://www.google.com/&referrer=https://www.google.com/

Working with the Russians to undermine democracy is a democrat stunt, not a republican one.
