One concept I saw repeated over and over in church growing up was that all people are flawed, and it’s not our place to judge anyone for their flaws. Even Christian morality was always presented as an unattainable ideal.

I also saw an astounding level of hypocrisy on that subject from both parishioners and church leaders.

I’ve rarely if ever encountered anyone with utopian opinions, though I’ve met plenty of lazy people who think everything would be perfect if they could just eliminate their philosophical enemies. Bill Ayers comes to mind. Hitler too.

Could you clarify where you encounter large numbers who follow a utopian ideology?

And how about that table?
