This is nothing new. It is generated by the vc startup culture and is a well known strategy, used for the last 30 years. The majority stockholders / investors promise a pathway to wealth while making very little direct effort. They create a frenzy of activity with no regard for the human suffering that is created in the process. This cycle ends when the economy goes through another downturn and people are left on the street with nothing but “experience”. There is always another generation of human fodder to exploit.
