In my opinion, the right thing to do is to vote for the candidate that represents my views. That candidate is not Trump nor is it Clinton. It is very arrogant to assume that third party voters are somehow a “lost” vote for your candidate. For instance, the Ralph Nader fallacy. There is a study from UCLA that concluded 40% of Ralph Nader voters in Florida voted Republican on the other races from that ballot. You are not going to gain allies by insulting their choices.
