I haven’t noticed much of a change in myself being at college for the first time. This semester has certainly been different compared to living at home, but it has not changed who I am one bit. The only thing I can say is that I love the freedom college gives you. I like being able to do things on my own time and planning out my own day. High School was nothing but a stress factory. Long school days, classes five days a week, piles of homework, college is much different. Since classes are spread out through the day and you aren’t constantly working from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, I have noticed I have much more energy. I now put time into my homework/ assignments, I now study for test and I now see school as something other than a requirement. I am able to take things day by day and focus on my studies more than I was able to before. Having this freedom allows you to see the person you want and hope to become. Not only that but it gives you the chance to become just that.
