Leftovers? LEFTOVERS?! What in God’s name are leftovers, The Solitary Cook? Even if alto can’t finish his dinner, I can assure you that, in my tummy, there’s always room in the inn for delicious recipes like this one! We’re going to make it tonight. I have to confess, though, that despite living in deepest rural Ontario, we don’t have fresh peas. Nor orecchiette, I’m afraid. Tonight we will have to do with macaroni elbows with (frozen) peas, lemon and probiotic yogurt.

But I can hardly wait for the real thing: I love fresh peas, to say nothing of tiny pasta ears! Alas, this is corn country so we’ll have to wait until the next time we’re in the big city (Ottawa) to fresh peas in the pod and orcchiette. YUM! Thanks, Solitary!
