Now that we all have a smartphone in our pocket, headphones have also become an essential accessory for many people. We use them every day to listen to music on our mobile phone, to go out to play sports, for public transport. But there are many different types of headphones and we are going to tell you about the differences between headset or headset.

DIFFERENCES

The main basic difference between headphones that are worn over the ear, headband or headphones and small ear buds, is its size. The first ones are quite bigger, they are placed on the ear and not inside the ear, as we all know. But there are some more details.

Headphones are usually the most comfortable. They are the largest headphones and cover the head completely. They rest on the head through their headband or on their ears (depending on whether they are circumaural or supra-aural) and the weight is distributed so that they are hardly uncomfortable (although it will depend on the model you choose).

Headphones are, in principle, the ones with the best sound quality they can offer. The loudspeakers can be wider and, in addition, they occupy the whole auditory pavilion and create a sound with more detail than in the case of the ear buds. The sound quality is May in general terms but it will always depend on the headphones you choose, both headband and button. They do not have to be always better, but in general, they allow for better and better sound.

There headphones headset larger such as circumaural and smaller headphones, supra — aural. The first ones rest on the head and are bigger. The seconds are smaller, they rest on the ears, are usually collapsible and are more comfortable if you want to take it somewhere. The first have a purpose designed to be at home or work on something related to sound. The second ones are ideal if you want to go out on the street betting on quality. In most cases (we repeat that not all, depending on the model) circumaural headphones tend to have better audio quality than supraaurals but will depend on the model that we will buy.

The earbuds need no description. They are the typical headphones that we all have at home, those that give us public transport or when we subscribe to a magazine. They are inserted inside the ear although it is a superficial insertion and do not reach the ear canal, like other earphones that reach to the bottom. Its quality is lower than that of the previous headphones because the insulation capacity is lower.

The sound, in general, is worse than in the headset headphones or other in-ear headphones but it will always depend on the model we choose. These are the typical headphones that are included in portable electronic devices or that we all have at home, as we have said. They serve to carry in your pocket without taking up practically any space and are used by everyone: from small children with their first MP3 toy or grandparents who still use a portable radio. There are different types, of different prices.

The ear buds have a lower quality but they are, without a doubt, the most comfortable headphones if we want to take them everywhere or we want to have them in our pocket if at any time we need them to listen to audios without requiring a great quality or much detail in the sound.
