How Meat Market Apps Are Destroying Relationships

The way I see it is that the easy availability of sex on meat market apps makes men less likely to commit and stick with a woman for life. Women who are offering themselves for free on meat market apps are competitors for women who are trying to find a lifelong mate. So offering oneself as a freebie on a meat market app is not really about being a feminist at all, like some would claim. It is about being selfish. I think some people these days love to call themselves ‘feminist’ when they do something sexual. However, being provocative is not what feminism is about at all. The term ‘feminist’ has been hijacked by those who crave attention for their own naked bodies. On a related note, having campaigns to ‘free the nipple’ does nothing of value to help women in need, to improve their living conditions. A true feminist would be actively campaigning to help women who are victims of domestic abuse, workplace inequalities, trafficked women, etc. Instead, those people who just post pictures of their naked bodies online and say that they they helping the female species, is just highly deceptive. They are not helping anyone, but their own selfish egos. In the meanwhile, there is a lack of emergency housing for women all over the world, who are trying to escape from domestic abuse. If only so-called celebrities who claim an extraordinarily amount of time on their ‘free the nipple’ campaigns put money towards building emergency housing centres across the globe, then we are talking!
