When you grow up, you quickly learn that the legal system is about protecting the rights of the rich and the powerful. It is not always justice. Gaols are full of people have mental health issues that led to them doing things considered antisocial.

Some people are in gaol because they have been framed.

Some people are in gaol because they have been paid to take the place of another person.
