Why posting stupid photos online could ruin your life

These days, smartphones have given billions of people the ability to photograph and upload photos 24/7. Basically, everyone has become their own broadcaster. With this tremendous power, comes the potential for harm. Any photos or videos that you post of yourself or others can change your and their future. People who do not know you may judge you by the photos and videos that they see of you online. They might not know the full story because any stupid photos or videos that you post, so they will judge you on the superficial level.

Remember that the more photos and videos that you post of yourself, the less privacy that you have.

Anything that you post, consider whether you want children and people of all ages to see. Your neighbour could see it. Your boss could see it. Your online bullies could see it. Your former lovers could see it.

Don’t post stupid photos that will come back to haunt you. There is no need to make life more complex than it already is!
