Thine love art mine

These next few lines I dedicate to thee

A fantasy of what can be with I

A marvel only the gods cannot see

Such pleasantries for mortals who will die

The starbright eyes shine goodness to my soul

And luscious locks of gold fair rivals silk

For skin so fair no being can control

Thy blessing is the weakness of man’s milk.

Our joyous days will have no deathly end

Fair nights do beseech Aphrodite’s will

Thus shall consummate past heaven transcend

A feat of might many have not the skill

For when thy breaths my heart just skips a beat

I pray to thee, let us be, thou art sweet.
