A Growing Pup & My Philosophy

Hi there! I’m dedicating this post to updating you all on some new things happening in my personal life.

Today Nadine calculated the amount of days that she and I have been together: 867. Wow. It is hard to believe that we have had so much time together. Each morning I still wake up with butterflies and feelings of incredible gratitude for her (#cheeseballalert).

And speaking of time, Sir Albus Dumblefluff (Instagram @siralbusdumblefluff ) is now 7 months old. In the past 5 months he has become such a gentleman…half of the time. He can do most of the tricks, knows how to listen to obedience commands, and is developing into a caring and active doggo.

Time is bittersweet & is the core of my photography philosophy. I believe that my clients and loved ones each have their own reasons for wanting photos to be taken. However, as the cliche goes, you’re never this young again. When photographing others, I always remember that the moments I am capturing may never occur again. The smiles, the hugs, the laughs are all integrated into an irreversible patchwork we call life. The images I take may just be an indescribably small piece of life, but the moments they hold within them are immeasurable.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
