What is the deal with communication?

Hi David,

You’re right in your description of the purpose of communication, the importance of it, and that it often fails. So the next question is, why does it fail? Why is there not a consistent method or framework for getting that communication happening? People are constantly getting frustrated because they need or want something, and they can’t communicate effectively what they want or need, and as a result, they don’t get it. That, in my opinion, is the basis for much (if not most) of the interpersonal conflict in the world.

How do we create an effective communication framework and approach? That’s something I’m struggling with, too…
