You can find copyright-free vintage images, and I have thrown some other copyright-free image websites into the mix.

Everyone loves free, and you will love these amazing websites that offer free, uncopyrighted images. On some of these websites, you may have to do a little digging because they may offer free and paid images, so you have to find the ones that are free.

These pictures are great for any platform you are working for, such as a writing site or a print-on-demand website like Redbubble.

What is good about using them for Medium is that you can put the name of the website where the picture is from right under the picture itself, and put a link to the picture, so there is no question about copyright and they have proof.

Make sure you read the fine print and make sure it says it is copyright-free.
