Nature Knows Its Needs,
It gives drink to the flowers,
Brings life to the seeds,
It may sprinkle for hours.

You have come once more,
Washing skies of blue,
Dripping on my door,
In a world so new.

Gone are sunny days,
But just for a while.
Then a purple haze,
And a rainbow’s smile.

I have been writing for a very long time, ever since I was in the 4th grade, when poetry was introduced to me.
