Draymond did the exact same thing to Kerr in a game earlier this season — it wasn’t at all meant in a disrespectful way either time. In that game, he picked up his 4th foul early in the 3rd I believe (or maybe his 3rd early in the 2nd). Kerr went to sub him out, and Draymond waved him off. It was basically Draymond’s way of saying “No, I understand that I can’t get any more fouls this quarter. Don’t worry, I’ll be fine.” Kerr left him in, and sure enough Draymond didn’t get another foul. That’s the kind of thing they mean when they say the players have “Ownership.”
