Something that I’ve seen folks trip over is not realizing that each API endpoint may corresponds to a different element under client. And that as Kubernetes changes and alpha moves to beta moves to v1, the code you write in the client needs to change and move with it. You can figure out what you need in the README you reference, and it may be worth calling out a “Hey, this changes — so be aware as you develop with the clients…”

Hopefully this will solidify as the API’s all advance to v1 and more solid backwards compatibility guarantees. There’s been a lot of churn in the past ~6 months as the APIs are advancing, and it can be confusing to someone not familiar with all the moving parts.
