Thanks Dave! One piece I’ve learned from the Boston Lean Startup Circle event is that developing real relationships with the writers also goes a long way. Reach out to local media, but know who you’re reaching out to and why they’re the right person to write about your startup. Don’t just send them a press release or email, invite them to coffee and get to know them. Don’t just send them a story, give them a heads up of milestones you’ll be approaching.
