Hey, algorithms aren’t low-level at all!

They’re a lot more abstract and removed from computers than what I’m guessing either of us work on (or at least, originally produce; obviously we’re all using them). I know this very acutely because I do high-performance numeric programming but I’m bad at algorithms and as such I usually have to look them up.
