Step-By-Step Tutorial: How to claim Your new Hush from an old Hush Private key in to Agama Desktop Wallet
- Have your old Hush Privatekey(s) which corresponds to a t1-address handy
- Start by Downloading Agama Desktop Wallet (version 0.3.6 and up) from https://komodoplatform.com/komodo-wallets/
- Install Agama Desktop Wallet
- Go to the “Tools” tab, through the quick access menu
2. Select the “WIF to WIF” option (WIF= Wallet Import Format)
3. In “Coin”, search and select “Komodo”, In “WIF”, Paste your Private key of the old Hush t1-address, Press “Get WIF” and you’ll see your new WIF (Private key) and Public address.
4. Copy that information somewhere safe, we’ll need it soon.
5. Exit the “Tools” menu, then click on “Restore wallet”
6. Now paste your WIF (Private key) which we acquired in step 3. and press “Next”
7. You can now compare the Public keys (in this case RE4D77fvgQD1D9Ha1zaLKuuFLWpw2UEP3R)and see that they match, then “Confirm” and move on to the next step
8. Name your Agama wallet file, create a strong Encrypt key (PIN) and confirm it. Then press “Next”
9. Now access your wallet we just made by entering the Encrypt key in the Password field and Sign in.
10. Press “Activate Coin”
11. In the text field write “Hush” and select it by clicking it, you should see the green stripe and then press “Activate”.
12. Ta-da, now you’re logged in, activated and ready to use/hodl your Hush.
