I am a freelancing editor for IAPWE. I have worked with the company for a while now and have enjoyed it a lot. I have noticed some of the issues listed in the article above and have enjoyed reading about the company being aware of the issues and the ways they are trying to improve them for the clients and freelancers. IAPWE has been very professional and helpful throughout my time working with them.

However, I do have one issue that I feel was not addressed above and should have been. There has been some issues with communication in the past between me and IAPWE. I will submit a document and it could take anywhere from 2–3 weeks for me to hear back from them. I understand that they are busy contacting the client and getting everything settled before paying me. This issue could be resolved with a quick email letting me know that you received the document and that you are reviewing it. This would clear up any confusion on my part about whether there was an issue submitting or whether or not I will be paid for my hard work. I understand that it takes time for the process to happen before I can get paid but feel that a little bit more communication would help to make the experience that much more enjoyable.

Overall, IAPWE has been a great company to work for and I have loved the opportunity to grow my experiences with this company. I look forward to seeing how the company continues to evolve and improve for the clients and the freelancers.
