An Introduction

Well then. This is my first attempt at a blog, and I’m rather excited. One of my favorite quotes by Jane Austen is “Her own thoughts were habitually her best companions.” And if that’s not true for me then I don’t know what is. I have a million thoughts bouncing in my head all the time and I use my imagination to create incredulous happenings that most of the time in fact could never happen. But it’s no matter. As Anne Shirley would say, “When you are imagining, you might as well imagine something worth while.”

But I don’t just imagine, I love doing. Doing what? Anything. Everything. I want to learn it, know it, be it. There are so many vast and curious topics in this world to only stick with one for the rest of my life. While it would be amazing to perfect an art like piano or gymnastics or dance or painting…I don’t think that’s something I’ll ever accomplish. Not because I lack discipline, but because there’s just not enough time for that when there are so many things to be doing. And so, I suppose “Jack of all trades, master of none,” sums me up in seven words.

One other important word you should know about me. Mormon. I hope that doesn’t turn you away. It shouldn't. Because Mormons are some of the darndest, coolest, wonderfulest, liveliest, most beautiful human beings I know. I’ll probably post a lot about my faith. And it’s not that I want to shove it down you’re throat, I just want my experiences to be there for people to peek into the real lives of real people who love and live their faith. And by all means I love to look into the lives of other people living their religion too! It’s a really cool thing.

I’m single. I’m happy. I’m nineteen. I’m passionate. I’m confident. I’m free.
