It was my pleasure!

I have only just started looking into fan theories and analysis, and some of it is so amazing and in-depth that I wish I had more time to devote to it. There’s more fan content than there is BTS original content, and I don’t think I could ever even catch up on that! But I have read some really interesting fan theories about their videos in particular that reflect psychological and social issues that I initially didn’t consider.

It kind of makes sense that Bang Shi-Hyuk studied aesthetics. Though I guess don’t know what “aesthetics” means in the Korean school system. There’s a branch of philosophy that we call aesthetics, and if it’s at all similar, then that makes me want to sit down and have a conversation with him even more.

The name Seo Taiji has come up before in my reading. I know he did rock music, but I really just need to do more digging. I really enjoy learning more about Korean history and culture through this as well. As wary as I am of appropriation, there are positive aspects of trying to learn about another culture.
