That last line pretty much sums up my view on programming and frontend development. Libraries, CSS preprocessors, CSS frameworks, template systems, layers upon layers of B.S. that complicate more than they solve.
Twitter is tremendously useful and nothing out there replaces it. I actually dropped facebook and focused on Twitter.
Flash deserves our love and memory, and Adobe (and Macromedia) deserve our thanks. Some time will have to pass until we can do what Flash allowed us to do, as easily as it allowed us to do it. No other tool or technology before it managed to open our minds and creativity as much as it did. It established the web as a design discipline.
