The chili peppers from Los Angeles is 29 years old Form 1983 till now. In the 29 years, the members in and out all the time. They also went through the drugs problem like all the legend rock band.

The original members of Red Hot Chili Peppers Hillel Slovak, Anthony Kiedis, Michael Balzary and Jack Irons. The first name of the band was ‘Tony Flow and the Majestic Masters of Mayhem’. Their first show was in a shop called Rhythm Lounge, and there were only 20 people watching the show. They temporarily wrote a song called “Out in L.A.” and the performance was very successful so the band was asked to return the next week. Then members soon changed the band’s name to Red Hot Chili Peppers and played several more shows.

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ label were originally signed to an EMI subsidiary, but they wont be paid till Epic would release them from their contract with EMI Manhattan by paying them off. Epic and EMI Manhattan hit a wall in negotiations, the deal fell through and the Red Hot Chili Peppers signed with Warner Brothers.

The first album was ‘red hot chili peppers’, and the album ultimately sold 300,000 copies.

Their earlier work was a fusion of funk and punk rock with a party attitude. The guitarist Hillel Slovak died because of drugs in 1988. After he died the Red Hot Chili Peppers also lost Jack Irons, cause he thought Hillel died because of the band. But the Red Hot Chili Pepper also got two new members, John Frusciante and Chad Smith.

Mother’s Milk was released in 1989 and it seemed as though the band would finally climb the music ladder.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ next album Blood Sugar Sex Magik was much better than before. The release was very successful and it sold more than three million copies. But at that time, some people felt that it was a mark of the Chili Peppers, others “raged at what they saw as the band’s innate sexism”.

In the Summer of 2004 the band embarked on a tour of Europe, playing in stadium sized venues, their first tour of playing venues of this magnitude. And now, Anthony Kiedis and Flea are the only remaining original members since the band’s inception in 1983.

My favorite song is ‘snow’ from their 2006 album ‘Stadium Arcadium’
