So only if a trans*person meets society’s expectations, the transition has worked? What about those that might never pass? Are these the ‘creepy guys’ you refer to? Are they just ‘doomed’ than?

Ladies rooms seperate from mens rooms where ‘invented’ during the industrialistic period only to ‘protect’ the working women from the men. In a way you your argument follows the same thoughtprocess. Women should be protected, but that also includes me, although I may not look like one enough to pass. I don’t feel safe walking into a mens room, but I should because I might be a guy dressed as a girl trying to harass women? I think a guy that really wants to take advantage of someone will find a way, whether he’s allowed to walk into the ladies room dressed as a girl or not.
