Jaymee, by posting this you have exponentially increased your future difficulties and challenges. Good luck finding a job after this.
Is this a case of millenial entitlement, as many are suggesting, or just plain stupidity? Possibly both but, after reading what I’ve read thus far, I’m thinking the latter. Since you’ve failed to learn from any of the numerous errors in judgment you’ve outlined, and are using those errors as excuses, one can only assume that your learning curve is quite large.
You have a three year old child that is apparently dependant upon you, and you alone. It is your child that I’m concerned about. Please take responsibility for your bad choices now and begin to choose wisely for you and your child. As much as you might want to live in SF, you can’t afford to live in SF and you most definitely should not have borrowed money to move here with a toddler in tow that you had no idea how you were going to support once you got here.
Move somewhere that is affordable and where you’ll hopefully have some support. And if you’re not willing to make your three year old child your top priority you should consider turning him/her over to your parents or another relative you trust. It’s time to make a choice between the child that you chose to have and chasing an unrealistic dream.
