Stop Telling Good Arguers to Become Lawyers

Isaac — many of my friends and I would have loved to have seen this before we all decided to go to law school. So many of them are still stuck with the golden handcuffs, still miserable and toiling away, but hey — they’re making good money. It’s hard to leave now — in spite of the refrain I used to hear over and over again: “I’ll work for biglaw for a few years, until my debt is paid, and then I’ll do what I’ve always wanted to do (fill in the blank).”

I decided to quit my law job and do something entirely different. I’ve written about it on Medium, if you’re at all curious.

Thanks for this,

Helena
