And I am not trivializing the suffering of this person.

You seem to be interested in feminism but I want to direct your attention to maybe reading up on some feminist literature and theory that is more inclusive and less focused on simply taking down men, and then implicitly it seems — using females to take their place as oppressors.

I would recommend reading ‘Feminism is for Everybody’ by bell hooks.

“As it is we have to do so much work to correct the assumption deeply embedded in the cultural psyche that feminism is anti-male. Feminism is anti-sexism. A male who has divested of male privilege, who has embraced feminist politics, is a worthy comrade in struggle, in no way a threat to feminism, whereas a female who remains wedded to sexist thinking and behavior infiltrating feminist movement is a dangerous threat.”
