Having knowledge about Color Theory, typography and shapes are FAR MORE complicated than scribbling a website wireframe on a napkin. Applying Helvetica or “San Francisco” on a 400x300px mockup, creating buttons with a rectangle tool, using Sketch won’t make anyone a “product designer”. It will, at best, make you good at developing digital services for niche audiences.

Stop making these analogies about subjects you clearly don’t understand. You want to think designers will come from business schools in the “Future” (because lawyers will come from engineering universities too, lol, amrite?) go ahead, just don’t change your arguments on the fly to suit your needs and make your point.
