Day 2 was full of amazing women speakers! First session of the day, we had Araya Hutasuwan, Co-founder & CFO, Snapcart Global, and Tammie Siew, Investment Team, Sequoia Capital. They were helping the participants to understand the fundraising process for startups. From preparation, how to secure qualified investors, how to get referrals, and do’s and don’ts in raising funds.

She highlighted the different types of Indonesian business entities, the Indonesian corporate structure, and things to be considered when opening up a business in Indonesia from a legal standpoint.

After lunch break, we had Karin del Rey, Engagement Manager, McKinsey & Company to deliver a session about Presenting with Impact. How to conduct presentation effectively through visual, vocal, and content.

Jowynne Khor, Developer Relations & Ecosystem Southeast Asia, Google

The day ended with pitch coaching by Jowynne Khor to help the participants hone their skills and prepare for Demo Day at the end of the week.
