Design is trending simultaneously in two different directions — towards the organic and towards the wildly unnatural. This reflects our (humans from industrialized counties, that is) split desire to make our lives easier and more connected with technology, but also to unplug and reconnect with nature. We are being drawn in both directions. Technology is great — almost every daily task is easier than it was a few decades ago, saving us time and money.
