Tareo Digital Innovations Funds Signs Agreement to Invest in MeFy Care (MeFy)

Tareo Digital Innovations Fund Ltd, an investment Securities firm, today announced that it led a pre-series A investment round in MeFy Care Pvt Ltd, a biotechnology and healthcare service start-up based in India. It is expected that the funding round will be completed before first week of December, 2018. MeFy’s vision is to organize the worlds’ health information by transforming primary and secondary healthcare service delivery universally. MeFy will use the capital on its technology platform, MeFy Care Edge clinics roll-out in India, and expansion of its market in Asia and Africa. The start-up was founded in 2018 by chief executive officer Sanjay Kumar Sinha and chief operating officer Kaushik Kumar. MeFy platform will leverage big data, deep machine learning / AI, diagnostic devices, grassroots innovation, advances in mainstream and alternative medicine. MeFy released its first prototype of Edge device in early 2018. It can currently diagnose 28 different health parameters and it plans to roll out approximately 60 health parameters in next 6–12 months.
