That’s a nice writeup Nameet. I just came back from an Himalayan trek, and during our trek, on more than one occassion, the villagers would come over chit chat a bit and then ask if we had any medicines we could spare. Medicines for pain relief and fever. Someone from our group, who treks regularly in such areas, told me that the nearest hospital or medical shop for them is 30 kms away, and the only way to reach there is to walk.
So I can totally understand what a wonderful service your dad gave to all those in these remote villages.
