Houseplants add natural beauty to any home. Not only do they add beautiful elements to your décor, but also they add an air-purifying element to your space. You don’t necessarily need a green thumb to successfully grow houseplants, either.

1. Nerve Plants
The Nerve Plant (shown above) is indigenous to South America. It has vibrant leaves that led to its name. The markings on the leaves look like nerves.
The Nerve Plant is not terribly difficult to grow, but it’s more difficult than a typical beginner’s plant. This plant likes to be in an atmosphere of low humidity. It doesn’t thrive in cold drafts; it prefers warmer, dry air.
