Australian fintech hub YBF Ventures has rejoined as a member of FinTech Australia.

Commenting on the news, Rebecca Schot-Guppy, GM of FinTech Australia said: “YBF is a pillar of the fintech community. To have them among our ranks is fantastic news for our organisation, and demonstrates YBF Ventures commitment to the future of fintech in Australia.”

“They are helping us build an industry that will thrive both locally and abroad.”

Farley Blackman, YBF Ventures’ CEO added: “Our mission at YBF Ventures is to help startups to scale, scaleups to succeed, and corporates to innovate. The tech entrepreneurs and innovators who call us home are addressing a wide range of disrupting and enabling solutions and technologies”.

“YBF Melbourne houses Victoria’s first and largest fintech hub in partnership with the Victorian Government and along with YBF Sydney, with its strong foundations in fintech, it is important for us to support and be involved with Fintech Australia. I am therefore pleased to announce that we are re-joining the organisation effective immediately”.

“We appreciate the hard work that Rebecca Schot-Guppy and her team have put into advocating financial services companies and the innovation spaces that support them.

“And we are proud that their Sydney base of operations will be with us, at YBF Sydney in the heart of the CBD.”

The news follows the launch of FinTech Australia’s new membership tiers last June. Read more about them here.
