Will You Finish Well

Really, I could have titled this will YOU finish. That’s the question I have to ask myself often.

This morning during my run I didn’t think I was going to finish.

I asked myself a couple of questions:

  • Could I finish if I went slower.
  • What does it mean to finish.

Yes, I would finish if I slowed down; however, that slow down is almost a walk.

To finish, means to get back to the spot I had already determined to be the finish line. Finishing doesn’t mean a pace, so it doesn’t matter how I cross the finish line.

Like to tell people, little by little. Success is a marathon.

And yes, I finished this morning. I made it back to the spot that I had determined the finish line. It was very encouraging to finish.

Will you finish? Do you need to slow down?
