As I leave Ann Arbor, my heart and mind linger on the path life would take if I stayed.

The future is an airplane. I’ll read a book, write a post, and teleport to another airport in Oakland.

I know where I’m going but I don’t know what I’m leaving.

It’s a big tradeoff. It hurts to think that I’m consciously passing on these relationships with friends I love.

So many amazing people to grow with all in the same place. Community.

I’ll never get that time back with them.

I’m taking off. Flying to The Bay.

Leaving relationships, Ann Arbor, and Rick’s behind to head back to the land of opportunity…and killer rent.

Dropout life isn’t easy, but it sure is the life for me.
