One thing this doesn’t discuss enough is how Patanjali has projected itself as an alternative against the large foreign MNC producing factory made chemical products, while in reality it itself is a MNC making industrial products. Its created a demand for non-chemical “Ayurvedic” products and cleverly captivated that market itself thereby forcing other companies to adopt this business model. Apart from how this is exploiting customers in a De Beer’s style model, it just seems to be an uninformed “patriotic” sentiment overall.
