Ketu 12th House and our Feet

Ketu is all about as planet that brings karmic lessons and experiences from past lives. Vedic astrology associates each planet with specific body parts or attributes in the human body. Rahu is associated with Head /Sense Organs and because Ketu doesn’t have head so it is often connected with the lower abdomen & Feet since Ketu co-lord the 8th house and 12th house. And this article more about Ketu’s energy of 12th house. 12th House indicates misery, loss, expenditure, waste, extravagance, sympathy, Bed room life, sleeping, dreaming, Feet, piety, divine knowledge, worship, moksha and the state after death. In addition to the twelfth bhava signifying jails and prisons, confinement can also come through ashrams, monasteries, and other places of spiritual renewal& Rehab centers. Saturn is the main karaka of this house, Venus gets exaltation in this house and Ketu is very comfortable when placed in the 12th house. It is important to remember that the twelfth house is the eleventh house of gain from the second house (money) and also the second house from the eleventh house, shows provide sustenance during the difficult times and can lot be written on this part of the 12th house.
But Now let’s focus on the feet, as feet represent the journey through life, each step we take shows a karmic choice or action. Ketu is strongly associated with detachment from the material world and materialistic desires and feet represent the foundation upon which we stand in the material world. Feet are symbolic of the physical world and material attachments, as they are the lowest part of the body that connects us to the Earth, just as we use our feet to move forward in life, Ketu's influence encourages individuals to let go of attachments that hold them back and to progress spiritually. This detachment from worldly matters (Feet, earth), when achieved, can lead to greater inner peace and spiritual growth and takes one to the higher realms (the head), signifying the path towards spiritual growth and enlightenment and balancing Rahu/Ketu Energy.
If you notice in all the religions specially Hinduism pilgrimages to sacred places often involve long journeys on foot. This act of traveling on bare foot to seek spiritual blessings and purification is closely related to Ketu's influence. It signifies a journey of self-discovery, where one leaves behind the comforts of the known (symbolized by the feet) to seek spiritual wisdom and transformation. Now this works beautifully to lessens the malefic effect of Saturn and Ketu in the birth chart.
In our religion touching the feet of elders, gurus, or deities is a sign respect, and seeking blessings. This act is a way of acknowledging the spiritual wisdom and guidance of those whose spiritual journey is considered advanced. Ketu's influence on the feet can be interpreted as a reminder to seek the guidance of spiritual mentors and to remain humble in one's quest for spiritual growth.
In the yoga and meditation, the practice often begins with grounding exercises and postures that involve the feet. As individuals progress in their yoga and meditation practices, they may experience a sense of detachment from the physical body and a connection with higher consciousness. Ketu's influence can be seen as guiding individuals from the physical to the spiritual through these practices.
Even Krishan as a form of respect to the brahmin his friend Sudama, washed his feet and sprinkled that water over his head. In temples and Gurudwaras you will see people offering the chappal sewa, people bringing Charan padukas, offering water to the feet of deities, Guru/Brahmins and to the small girls during Navratri, are some of the examples of how beautifully our religion and astrology work together for humans to connect with their higher version and bring enlightenment.
In the end all I want to emphasize is that Interpretations of Ketu's influence on the feet can vary among individuals, religions, traditions and even with astrology believers, with some emphasizing detachment and spiritual growth, while others focus on karmic aspects and seeking blessings from spiritual authorities and some purely see as the Saturn’s effect only. However, these associations may help us to understand the deeper understanding of the spiritual significance of feet and their connection to the journey towards spiritual enlightenment and liberation. These are my viewpoints and I apologies if it brings any confusion or misconception among anyone.
