Reflection:

In Jeremiah 6, amidst the forewarnings of impending calamity due to the people’s disobedience, verse 16 shines as a beacon of hope. God invites His people to stand at the crossroads and consider the ancient paths, where the good way is, and to walk in it to find rest for their souls.

The “ancient paths” symbolize the timeless truths and divine principles laid down by God. It’s an invitation to return to a life of obedience, righteousness, and reverence for God, contrasting the contemporary paths of disobedience that led them astray.
