Deep Learning Is Going to Teach Us All the Lesson of Our Lives: Jobs Are for Machines

The closing thought that machines earn more money for their owners than we can for ourselves is particularly poignant. That the wealthy can now taunt us with not-so-veiled threats of eliminating our jobs through arguments for automation only adds to the workers’ indignation. It may be the demoralization and inhumanity that arises from this that could be the single best argument for Basic Income.
