c) Find the Startup option and set it to Automatic.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINES\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\malwarebytes (for 64-bit operating system)

c) After you have got the ID and key of the Malwarebytes, open the Malwarebytes on your PC and then, click on My Account.

d) After the page of your account has opened, click on the button deactivate.

e) Now, open settings and then, select Advanced Settings.

f) In the Advanced Settings window, uncheck the box before the option Enable Self Protection Module.

g) Close this program and download mbam-clean.exe. (you can download it from the official site of Malwarebytes).

h) After the download is finished, close all programs and disable your anti-virus.

i) Click on the mbam-clean.exe file to run this program. Then, you will be asked to reboot your PC, do it as per the instructions.

j) When your PC is ready to work, download the latest version of Malwarebytes from the official website and click on the install button initiate the installation.

k) Make sure that you uncheck the box before the option Trial version.

l) When Malwarebytes has been installed on your PC, click on the button Activate.

m) Enter the ID and key in the required field.

- You have installed the latest version of Malwarebytes on your PC and your issue must have been resolved by now. In case, your problem still persists, try the next fix that we have mentioned.

4. Uninstall the Malwarebytes from your PC in safe mode:

a) Click on the Windows icon (available at the bottom-left corner of the screen)

f) Find the option Malwarebytes (MBAM) and then, click on uninstall. (this type Malwarebytes will be uninstalled properly from your PC)

g) After the process is finished, disable the safe mode on your PC.

h) Download and install the latest version of Malwarebytes on your PC.
