I like how you went against what everyone said about the pineapple bleu cheese cookies and tried making them. Although they didn’t turn out too great, you went way out of the box and tried a different combination of flavors and weren’t afraid to fail. Also, I liked the little insight to your idea notebook on how to infuse the rootbeer flavor into the cookies.
I wish that you would have gave a brief description to why the flavor combinations in your idea generation phase would have worked together. Why does tomato and strawberry go together?
What if for your root beer cookie you used the bottle caps in the actual dough. I know you were upset with the initial batch of cookies not having enough root beer flavor. Would crushing up some bottle caps and adding them directly to the flour and mixing them in produce more flavor?
