Investing just became easier

Keeping our promises made in the past couple of articles, we are proud to share our progress on improving our contribution dApp to make it even faster and easier to get on board with the best projects in the cryptosphere!

Recently, an update was published that streamlines the contribution process by not requesting users to fill a form after each contribution.

Registration process

In order to link your email address and telegram username with your wallet address, the application now requires that you register once, the first time you connect to the dApp.

A registration form is now shown the first time you connect your wallet for a deal contribution.

Once you click on the “Register” button, your wallet will ask to sign a message containing a number. This is required in order to verify that you indeed own the wallet that you are trying to register. It is a common and convenient way to perform password-less login on dApps nowadays. This is free and does not execute a blockchain transaction.

This signature process allows us to verify that you own the wallet you are registering.

After filling in the form with a valid email address and signing the message, you will receive an email in your inbox with a link to click, in order to complete the registration process. If you do not immediately see the email, please check your “Promotions” tab or spam folder.

Important: please note it is preferable to use a computer with a browser extension wallet for the one-time registration process, although the mobile Metamask app built-in browser should work. Likewise, using the “dApps” tab on TrustWallet for Android should work too. Using WalletConnect with Trustwallet on iOS has been known to cause issues.

Contribution process

The contribution process is now simpler than ever:

1. Just like before, fill the form with your contribution amount and delivery address (by default, if the token is airdropped on an EVM-compatible blockchain, your currently connected wallet address will be populated)
2. Approve spending of your stablecoin tokens (usually BUSD) with the “Approve” button
3. Contribute during the contribution period of the deal by clicking the “Contribute” button
4. That’s it! The system will record your transaction hash, match it against your email address and send you a confirmation right into your inbox.

The application records your transaction hash and sends you a confirmation email.

The email might take a couple of minutes to arrive as the transactions are processed by our servers securely. As before, make sure to check your various inbox folders if you can’t see the email after a few minutes.
