I’m quite perplexed with your analysis of nodejs. The Async-await feature “trumps" all your concerns on single threading in a neat way.
Also all standard languages have package managers with non trivial code bases python has pypi, php has composer, .net has nuget so node has npm I don’t see a point here.
To cap it all up combining the flexibility of nosql with the easy interoperability of javascript everywhere. It’s evident that node is a no-brainer.
I have used django before and it’s a good language but to dump the nodejs ecosystem(express, electron and npm) for python’s django sounds so 2009. keep building your old school apps
