Sync Samsung Galaxy S8 With Outlook Via Wi-Fi

How To Sync Galaxy S8 With Via Wi-Fi

Syncing via Wi-Fi is fairly simple and requires nothing but a working Wi-Fi hotspot. To start the process click the “Configure AkrutoSync” link in the AkrutoSync interface and pick “Home network”. Then, since Galaxy S8 is an Android phone, choose “Android”.

After that, you will see the list of Outlook folders from which you can select the data you want to sync with your smartphone. Afterward, if you are not connected to your Wi-Fi network, do connect to it. And if you are already connected, simply click “Continue”.

On the next step you need to enter the IP address shown in the AkrutoSync interface into your phone’s browser and tap “Go”. After this you will need to install a security certificate that will protect your data from being intercepted.

Now you need to set up everything on the PC side. Create a user name and a password and then you need to create an ActiveSync account on your smartphone.

Simply go to the “Settings” and tap “Accounts”, “Add account” and add a Microsoft Exchange account. Enter the email address displayed in the AkrutoSync window and the password you created earlier, tap Continue and you are good to go.
