Fortunes of Ventuna and Mayinhara Frequently Asked Questions
As we get closer to the release of the idle game “Fortunes of Ventuna,” we’re getting a lot of questions from the community. The most frequently asked questions and their answers are listed below. Please feel free to ask our community administrators any additional questions you may have, and we will do our best to answer them.
Will hero abilities (AP, DP, and EL) or NFTs like gemstones and tickets be used in the main game or beta game ?
No, all of the features in the minigame are exclusive to the minigame and have no effect on the main game. These features are only defined in the minigame; they are not available in the NFT’s metadata file. These are displayed among the hero features in our own marketplace or tavern, so you can see them when purchasing. These features will not be available on marketplaces other than ours. However, if the purchased hero is used in the minigame by the new owner, these features will resume where they left off, so there is no loss.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of heroes required to play the minigame?
To play the minigame, at least one hero is required. The game can also be played with multiple heroes, with each hero completing missions and earning rewards on their own. There is no cap on the number of heroes.
Is it possible to use a hero not only in the minigame but also in the main game or staking?
At the same time, no. So, if you send your hero on a mission for the minigame, you won’t be able to use him again until the mission is completed. When the mission is finished and the hero returns to you, you can either send it to a new mission or use it in staking or the main game. The only limitation is that a hero can only be used in one activity at a time (minigame quests, staking, selling in the market, renting in the tavern, main game etc.).
Are the hero attribute boosts in the minigame permanent?
So, if it’s sold, will the new owner be able to keep using these features?
The minigame’s AP, DP, and EL features are permanent.
In other words, if these characteristics are enhanced with a “training ticket” or “stat upgrade reward,” the hero becomes permanently stronger.
As a result, even if the hero is sold, it will include these features.
In other words, every buff obtained for the hero increases both the hero’s gains and the hero’s value.
This is excepted in two cases:
Gemstones are hero-independent NFTs and attaching one to a hero strengthens the hero’s corresponding attribute. When the gemstone is removed from the hero, the increase is restored. Because each gemstone is an independent NFT, if the hero is sold, it does not automatically pass to its new owner. Even if the hero is sold, the new buyer will be unable to see or use the gemstones because the owner of the gemstones will still be the owner of the old hero.
If the hero is to be sold, we recommend removing the gemstones and listing it for sale.
Even if you sold it by accident, you can use the hero “tier” screen to “claim” your idle gemstones and add them back to your wallet, where you can use them in your other heroes or sell them on the marketplaces.
Similarly, for the “tier,” the hero’s owner must deposit a certain number of tokens.
As a result, even if the hero changes hands, the deposited tokens still belong to the previous owner and cannot be used by the new buyer.
In other words, if a hero changes hands, he will automatically return to the default tier.
If the hero is to be sold, we recommend using the “tier” page to reclaim the tokens deposited for the tier and downgrading the hero to the default tier before the sale.
Even if you sell the hero by accident, you can still claim your idle deposit tokens via the yien “tier” screen.
What does the minigame’s “tier” do?
Tier is unique to the hero and determines how much HeC the hero gains. So, if a T3 hero earns 5 HeC in a mission, a T5 hero earns 8 HeC in the same mission. (Figures are just examples to give you an idea; they do not represent actual values.)
If a player has multiple heroes, each hero’s tier is independent of the others. In other words, the hero who makes the required deposit can be T5, while the others can be T3.
Why do we have to pay a gas fee with every transaction?
The minigame is entirely blockchain-based. When you earn an NFT or HeC token, send a hero on a mission, or make a change to the hero, the transaction must be documented. Because of the nature of blockchain, every piece of information that needs to be recorded or every transfer (token or NFT) that needs to be made necessitates a gas fee, which is outside of our control.
The only other option would be to store this data in an off-chain database rather than on-chain, which would introduce numerous security vulnerabilities such as game security, data protection, and NFTs.
We used it as a foundation to keep all data on the chain because we wanted to create a completely secure and transparent structure while developing the minigame.
In-game, how do MayinHara features (AP, DP, EL) improve?
MayinHara has an NFT as well as a distinct ID. We store AP, DP, and EL attributes for each MayinHara within the minigame contracts using this unique ID. That is, when a hero’s XP increases, it is the information we keep about that hero in the minigame that changes, not the NFT itself.
Are MayinHara’s “boost” features useful in minigames?
No, the boost percentages seen in the MayinHara features are for the main game and have no effect on the minigame.
Do our heroes spend the full 3 days exploring or can the exploration end early if they find a treasure?
The award is determined at the end of the exploration period, so the heroes must spend the entire three days exploring.
Do we need to level up heroes by going through lower-level lands i.e. start at Level 1 and then make our way up to Level 2 and so on?
To advance to the next level, you must first upgrade your exploration level. You can explore levels that are lower or equal to your hero’s level.
How long does sieges last? Is there a fixed duration or this can vary?
It varies between 5 and 15 days. The longer the siege, the greater the reward,
The Medium article talks about a formula for determining the rewards from a siege. Is this formula available anywhere?
This formula is not public.
The Siege owner and player closing the Siege apparently get higher rewards than other participants. Is there any info available on this?
The owner of the siege receives the same amount of reward as the highest reward in the siege. The player who completes the siege always receives 4 HeC.
Do all other siege winners (as well as defenders) get equal rewards or is there any upside to joining a siege early as opposed to last minute?
The earlier you join, the greater the reward.
Is the total reward pool for winning a siege as a defender or as an attacker the same or can this vary?
It changes whenever a new hero joins. That’s why it says “estimated.”
Is there a limit/cap to the number of heroes that can join a siege?
No
What is the reward multiplier for going from Tier 3 to Tier 4 to Tier 5?
Tier 5 has a ratio of 100%, Tier 4 has a ratio of 60%, and Tier 3 has a ratio of 40%.
