You do realize what the original article posted was DLT or distributed ledger technology?

Well, the original article very clearly is titled “A blockchain in 200 lines of codes” and not something with DLT, while what it *actually* describes is something like git. It also very clearly states that it is a “naive” chain and cannot be used publicly.

You describe something like Ripple and that is fine, I’m not arguing against it. As said, it is just a different category, a different trust model, with very well-known trade-offs.
